European Youth Foundation / Council of Europe
International activity Reviyouth

March 10–18, 2025 — Another great week is behind us!
We concluded our international training course “Reviyouth,” which we implemented together with the Slovak Hungarian Youth Association – SZMISZ. The aim of the programme was to increase youth participation and to revitalise democracy among the youth aged under 30 years.
The international activity was made possible thanks to the financial support of the European Youth Foundation (EYF) / Council of Europe.

European dimension
The 7-day training, which applied non-formal educational methods and was conducted by professional trainers from the European Youth Foundation, brought together 27 participants and a 3-member project team in person. They represented 8 different European youth organizations from Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Greece, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, and Portugal.
Meeting with mayor of Dunajská Streda
As part of the programme, we attended an official reception at the town hall of Dunajská Streda, where we were welcomed by Mayor Zoltán Hájos. During the meeting, we discussed minority and youth issues from the perspective of local governance.

Study visit to the European Parliament’s Representation Office in Bratislava
As part of our international activity “Reviyouth” – aimed at increasing youth participation and revitalising democracy – we carried out a study visit to the European Parliament’s Representation Office in Bratislava. There, we learned about the functioning of the European Union and the Council of Europe, and engaged in discussions about their respective roles.
