The European Youth Foundation (EYF) is a funding instrument established by the Council of Europe that supports youth projects aimed at promoting active youth participation and upholding the values of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. The EYF’s goal is to foster young people’s engagement in public life and strengthen civil society across Europe.

Our mission. Join us !

SZMISZ – the Slovak Hungarian Youth Association – actively participates in the youth policy programmes of the Council of Europe, especially through training courses and international cooperation supported by the EYF. Our goal is to engage young Hungarians in Slovakia in the European dialogue, support their development into active citizens, and provide opportunities for them to grow in topics related to human rights and democracy. If you’re interested in similar opportunities, join us too 🙌😊

Youth of European Nationalities (YEN)

To this end, we organize our own training courses and also take part in the training sessions and events of YEN (Youth of European Nationalities), a network of youth organizations representing national minorities. These programmes help our members gain international experience, build connections with other minority communities, and become active participants in European youth and minority policy discourse.
