A few memorable moments from our 9 day long international workshop
🇪🇺Erasmus+ workshop Civican
April 3.-11. 2024: We organised a public life training in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia for 30 young people from 9 European youth organizations and countries: Spain, Italy, Czechia, Hungary, Armenia, Georgia, Greece, Romania and Portugal.
We analysed and recognised concepts like identity, culture, media literacy, public engagement and facilitation of youth engagement with the help of professional trainers.
European Parliament Office
Study trip
We organised a study trip to the Slovak office of the European Parliament in Bratislava where we learnt about different EU institutions and about the upcoming 2024 EU elections.
Town hall and mayor visit
Mayor of Dunajská Streda, Zoltán Hájos welcomed us at the town hall and introduced us the different institutions of the municipality and discussed challenges affecting local youth with us. The report made by the regional TV can be watched on the following link:
DAC football club
We visited the local football stadium where the PR manager of the club Krisztian Nagy gave us a guided tour and showed us how the club works.
Election observation
On the occasion of the slovak presidential elections, we organized an election observation where young people could participate in the election halls as observers. We ended the election night with a party awaiting the live results.
