Erasmus+ is the European Union’s programme for youth, education, and training, offering opportunities for young people and organizations to learn, develop, and gain international experience. The programme aims to enhance young people’s skills, promote active citizenship, and strengthen European identity.

SZMISZ – the Slovak Hungarian Youth Association – actively participates in the Erasmus+ programme by organizing youth exchanges, training courses, and international cooperation projects. Through our activities, we provide opportunities for Hungarian youth in Slovakia and beyond to engage in European youth projects, acquire new skills, and build international connections. Our goal is to prepare young people for active participation in public life while strengthening their cultural identity and European commitment.
In addition to organizing our own Erasmus+ training courses, our members have also taken part in projects hosted by our partners in countries such as Turkey, Luxembourg, and Armenia.
